Stretch and balance: dancing warrior flow

We've been trying this variation of the dancing warrior flow in my gentle yoga sessions - I love it! A good mix of stretching, balancing and twisting. And really adaptable. Try it with a sun salutation, and don't be afraid to use bricks or the wall to give you a bit more support.


Dancing warrior variation: mountain pose, tree pose, warrior 1, warrior 2, reverse warrior, extended side angle, reverse lunge twist, low lunge, forward fold, half lift, mountain pose

I like to adapt poses so that they're more accessible, we spend time in my sessions trying different variations before we put to into a flow so everyone feels comfortable and gets something from each pose.
